SEO COMPARISON Compare Our Services

The neat thing about our Foundational SEO service is that it is indeed real. This is also the point we are most proud
of. What do we mean by this? Let us
explain.
You see, the more affordable options that small businesses are
left with in regard to SEO are ineffective at best. Either the services are misleading, or they are downright
scams. Those options are the direct competitors of Foundational SEO services.
We will go over a few of the most common "services" out there,
and provide you with the right answers to their claims. We will also go over some questions you may have about the
way in which our services compare.
Make note of a few of these points, and save your money for
something that will actually benefit your site.
The 1000 Search Engine Submissions Our SEO professionals are always joking about how we can barely name five by heart,
and that we have two times that many fingers. The reality of this claim is that there really are that
many search engines by the truest definition, but most will not bring traffic to your site. The ones that do matter
the most, don't even require that submit to them, and haven't for a long time. So when you call to cancel your
current service provider, and they use this as an attempt to keep your service, tell them to try
again.
Too Many Secrets Sure, I may have a few ways to build links that I like to keep to myself. I may have a list of a
few sites that I like to use to promote a client's site. However, there shouldn't really be any secrets. If your
SEO vendor is claiming that the steps they take to optimize your site is a closely guarded, proprietary method that
they can't share with you, either they don't know what they will be doing, or they know what they will be doing
will be of great risk to your site.
My Service Is Charging Me
Way Less Than You And On A Monthly Basis.
Yeah we know. We have seen them, worked for them or have generally heard about them.
Think about that charge though, and what it is you are getting in return. That $90 a month will add up, and before
you know it you've spent 2 or 3 times what Mitchell Marketing charges, and will be hard-pressed to find a good
reason as to why.
They Run A Report Too. That's All You're
Doing. Not exactly. The reports these
companies are running are very basic, are only performed on your home page and often leave out very important
parts of your site (like the other pages of your site, important content aspects, etc).
With the analysis that we run and provide, you will gain very
in-depth knowledge about your site. Not only that, every report has a human touch. A professional SEO will look at
your site's analysis, and make customized recommendations. This is something that you simply won't get from those
other, automated reports.
I Can Call My Current
Company As Well.
Yup, seen them too. The people you are calling also handle billing issues, aspects of
technical support and are also in charge of attempting to keep your business when you attempt to cancel. These are
not real SEO professionals. These are customer care reps that are given a number of common responses that depend on
their automated reports.
If you would like to test this theory, feel free to let us
know. We will be happy to provide you a list of questions to ask any of those reps that are outside the scope of
their knowledge, but that every SEO should know. To make things fair, we invite you to do the same with us. Feel
free to pose a few questions that you may find out there to validate our integrity. We really do love the
challenge.
I Am Being Guaranteed Page
One Rankings for $49.95.
This is just an outright lie. There is no service that can actually do such a thing
for such a price. It simply isn't possible.
Consider this, professional SEOs charge thousands (sometimes
tens or hundreds) of thousands of dollars to provide their services. These are long term Internet marketing
campaigns with long term goals and real returns. If, on the opposite side, it were possible to rank a site on page
one for such a low fee, we wouldn't be able to charge these prices, and the search engines wouldn't be very
happy.
Link-Buying Without Education If you poke around the Internet
reading about SEO long enough, you're bound to stumble across the debate of link buying. This is something that
Google really doesn't like, and if they catch you in the act, you could find your site penalized or banned from the
search engine completely.
This is a tricky subject. At Mitchell Marketing SEO, we don't buy, nor do we promote the act
of buying links to rank. This is not to say that it can't be done with success. It should be noted
that a link purchasing should be done with extreme caution and preferably with the advice or help of
someone with experience.
First
Impression If you want to learn more
about a vendor, you will often need look no further than their website. Most snake oil SEO
companies make the same poor steps on their site as they would on yours. We recently reviewed a
company that was blatantly Stuffing Keywords (check out that link to learn more about what keyword stuffing
is). They made promises on their site that couldn't be fulfilled, and submitted to "hundreds of
search engines."
General
Trickery
If talking to your SEO firm you hear things like "we will trick the search engines into" or "this will
make the search engines think such and such" then you might want to look a little deeper into what it
is they are talking about. Generally speaking, SEO isn't about tricking the search engines, it's about
promoting your site to them, and proving your site is relevant to your desired search terms.
In the end, you might be surprised what your gut feeling will tell you in these situations. If you
don't feel comfortable, at the very least you should ask some more questions and dig a little
deeper.
