Which Tier Is Right For Your Business?

Local SEO Pricing starts at $300/month up to $1,100/month. It is our practice to look at your site and suggest which Tier is right for you. In general,

Tier 1 is perfect for local businesses with little to no competition and in much less populated areas. For example, a dog groomer in Middleburg, Florida would benefit from a simple Tier 1 service.

Tier 2 is reserved for local business that may have moderate competition, or in areas of lower population (or vice versa). For example, a personal injury lawyer in San Diego, CA. would fit into that category. Or perhaps an underwater basket weaver in Jacksonville, FL.

Tier 3 is needed if your competition is high, and you reside/cater to a well-populated city. Think: lawyer in New York. Tier 1 simply wouldn’t work for this type of business.

These examples are just that, though. In some cases Tier 2 might work. It all depends on your current site’s performance, and what would be needed to see positive results from a local SEO campaign. Rest assured, we will point you in the right direction for your business. After all, isn’t that the point?

  Local SEO Details

You may notice that the items included in our services appear differently than those of other sites. This is because as much as we try, SEO simply can’t be a one-size-fits-all service. The following should help clear up some of the common questions.

 How Many Directories?

You’ll notice that we don’t mention the exact number of directories to which your site will be submitted. There are 2 major reasons for this. First, we don’t know how many it will take to see results for your specific business. Second, some industries don’t have a lot of directories from which to choose in regard to niche types.

Generally, there are about 30 to 40 local directories we can really count on. These include the likes of yellowpages.com, etc. But the niche and general directories are something of a mystery until we look at your site specifically. Sometimes there are plenty, sometimes there aren’t many.

 Internal Link Structure

Another part of the optimization process is the links that direct a visitor and the search engines to other pages of your site. With an optimized internal linking structure, you will help the search engines find all of the pages of your site, and direct visitors to the pages they are looking for. This will also help the search engines determine what a site's individual pages are all about, thus helping them to rank those pages appropriately.

 Required Commitments

You’ll notice that there are different commitments required for the different tiers. The reason for this is not that it will only take 3 months to see results from tier 1, but that it will take around three months to see a positive movement. Unfortunately there’s no way to tell exactly how well your site will perform in an exact amount of time. However, once a commitment is finished we offer the option to continue services on a monthly basis.

Each commitment was created so that we can show a positive performance, thus proving to you that our services are worth the investment. There are cases in which a client simply doesn’t need our services after a commitment has been met, and we don’t like the idea of locking anyone into a contract when it isn’t needed. Tier 2, being a proper choice for some businesses requires a longer commitment (just as Tier 3) simply to give us enough time to show you what we can do.

Besides, if we lost every client we ever got as soon as a commitment was completed, we weren’t doing our jobs with enough integrity anyway, and we wouldn’t deserve your business. Each commitment ensures that the right amount of effort is given to your specific website’s needs, and that you as the client makes the decision to stay with us or not.

  Link Building Efforts

Generally speaking, we don’t consider directory submissions to fall into the category of “link-building.” Sure, for many small businesses that’s all that is needed to achieve ranking success. But for the more competitive sites, a little outside-of-the-box thinking is required. Our link-building efforts are catered to those more competitive industries, and come from quality, relevant websites.

 As Needed Content Creation?

There was a time when we wouldn’t quote services without taking content creation into account. But, as most things Internet-related, the general populace has become quite savvy. Every once in a while (and with more frequency as the years pass) we get control over sites that don’t need content creation. Believe it or not, each of these prices were created under the assumption that the trend will continue. We simply dip into our own pocket should content be a need. How many companies do that? Yeah, well. That’s just how we like to do business.

Well, those are the most common questions. If you have any that weren’t answered here or If you’re interested in services please contact us and we’ll be happy to help. Here’s to your success.
