About UV Coating
About Ultraviolet (UV) Coating: This thicker stock is commonly used
for High Quality Business Cards, Postcards, Rack Cards, Club Card Flyers, Hang Tags and
Folders. "UV" or "U.V." is an abbreviation for Ultra-Violet. The process involves a thick,
clear coating cured to the product (business card or otherwise) by a UV light post-production
process. The result is a high impact, glossy appearance that adds to the overall weight of
the product. In other words, a heavy duty card with ultimate shine that looks fantastic and
won't tear or bend
easily.
